Our Mission

We believe every child deserves to begin their journey guided by a high quality early education.

Liberated’s nonprofit approach implements a sliding scale tuition model which creates the opportunity for our schools to closely follow the Montessori Method, while also serving historically underserved communities and families. It is this unique component that allows Liberated Montessori to reach children from all backgrounds and walks of life. By fostering this inclusive environment, Liberated aims to meet the diverse needs of our community, while creating a supportive and enriching atmosphere for both children and parents.

This approach not only enhances the educational experience but also builds a strong, interconnected community where every family feels valued and engaged.

At Liberated, we are committed to offering affordable Montessori care and education for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Our mission is made possible through the generous support of donations from individuals and organizations who share our vision of empowering children through Montessori education.

Together, we can create a brighter future for all.

Join us on this transformative journey and be part of something truly meaningful.

Why Give?

Maria Montessori once wrote, “Education is the best weapon for peace”, adding that “true peace suggests the triumph of justice and love among men; it reveals the existence of a better world where harmony reigns”.

This concept of peace and social justice cannot be attained when education reflects disadvantage.

Liberated aims to help bridge that gap.

Below are ways you can help!

Annual Giving

The Annual Drive, held every September, supports a wide range of essential needs at Liberated, from campus and classroom improvements to teacher continuing education and Montessori refresher courses, as well as the purchase of high-quality Montessori materials and supplies. These contributions not only enhance the learning environment for our students, but also ensure our teachers remain inspired, well-prepared, and deeply rooted in Montessori philosophy. Through the Annual Drive, every gift directly strengthens the foundation of our community and the experience of every child we serve.

Lee’s Fund

Lee’s Fund is a dedicated scholarship program that helps bridge the gap in tuition costs for families at Liberated. By supplementing what the state’s Child Care Subsidy program covers, Lee’s Fund ensures that each student’s remaining tuition balance is met. This support not only makes high-quality Montessori education accessible to more children, but also strengthens our ability to serve families equitably, regardless of their financial situation. Through Lee’s Fund, we are able to extend opportunities, foster stability, and empower more children to thrive in our learning community.

Volunteer and In Kind Gifts

We are always in need of volunteers for our school, from woodworking to gardening and everything in between! If you have a special skill or would like to donate your time in other ways, such as event planning, teacher appreciation, or classroom support, we would love to have your help. In addition to volunteering, in-kind donations such as classroom supplies, Montessori materials, books, or services are deeply appreciated. Whether through your time, talents, or resources, your contributions make a significant difference in our school community!
